What is Barry Bostwick doing now?

American actor Barry Bostwick was born on February 24, 1945. He is best known for playing Mayor Randall Winston in the sitcom Spin City (1996–2002) and Brad Majors in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). Having won a Tony Award for his performance in The Robber Bridegroom, Bostwick has also achieved great success in the musical theater genre.

Bostwick was a member of the band First National Nothing, which put out one record in 1970 called “If You Sit Real Still and Hold My Hand, You Will Hear Absolutely Nothing.” They are referred to as “A rock-theater commune made up of musicians, actors, dancers, singers, designers, writers, composers, and friends that started a long, long time ago as a lost tribe in California and has ended up as a theatrical performing company in New York City” in the album’s description.

In NBC’s “The Goldberg’s” 2019 Halloween episode, Bostwick gave an homage to his Rocky Horror days while portraying Professor Majors. Barry will appear in The Outlaw Johnny Black in 2021 as Tom Shelly and in “The Potwins” as Grandpa Davis.
