Solomone Funaki, a professional rugby union player from Tongan, is presently a loose forward for Moana Pasifika in Super Rugby. He was born on April 25, 1994. He speaks on behalf of Tonga abroad.

After relocating to Hawke’s Bay in 2018, Funaki joined the Maori Agricultural College (MAC) Sports Association and played club rugby there. As a temporary injury replacement, he was added to the Hawke’s Bay roster for the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup season, and on September 30, 2018, against Canterbury, he made his Magpies debut.

His sole Mitre 10 Cup game that season was that one. He was a full squad member for the Magpies in 2019, but he fractured his wrists twice and missed the entire Mitre 10 Cup season.
