Famous football player Jourdan Lewis was born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 31, 1995. Jourdan, who joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2017, is also widely known for his work as a cornerback.

The University of Michigan offered Lewis a football scholarship, which he accepted. He played in 13 games as a freshman, recording 17 tackles and two passes defended.

In his 12 games (seven of which he started) as a sophomore, he had 39 tackles, 28 solo stops, 1.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and six passes defensed. In the third game of the year, he was given the starting nod.

He made 13 starts as a junior and recorded 52 tackles (3.5 for loss), two interceptions, and 20 passes defended, which was third-best in the FBS. On kickoff returns, he gained 25.2 yards on average.
