Mel Coleman was the husband of Annabel Croft, a British former professional tennis player.

They got married in 1993. The couple and their three children lived in Coombe, near Wimbledon, in the London district of Kingston.
They had two daughters named Amber Rose and Lily and a son named Charlie. They co-founded the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy at the National Tennis Centre in 2009.
Mel Coleman was a former international America’s Cup and Admiral’s Cup yachtsman.

Mel Coleman, Annabel’s husband, died in May 2023. He died only eight weeks after being diagnosed with stage three cancer after complaining of stomach pain.
Releasing a statement at the time of his death, Annabel said: “My beloved husband Mel passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning after a short battle with cancer.
“My family and I are completely heartbroken and ask for privacy at this very sad time.”
