Australian rugby union player Samu Kerevi, a native of Fiji, has established himself as a fearsome center. Kerevi, who was born on September 27, 1993, in Viseisei, Fiji, emigrated to Australia when he was four years old.

When Kerevi was a student at Brisbane State High School, his rugby career started to take form. There, he displayed his skill and represented Queensland in the 2011 Australian Schools Rugby Championships.

He was chosen to play for the Fiji Under-20 side at the 2012 IRB Junior World Championship, which was held in South Africa, as a result of his strong performances, which caught the notice of scouts. He quickly distinguished himself in that competition by scoring the first try against Wales and later adding a pair of tries against Samoa.
