A free agency linebacker for American football, Joseph Schobert was born on November 6, 1993. In the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, he was chosen by the Cleveland Browns. Schobert played college football for Wisconsin, where he was named the top linebacker in the country in 2015 and received the Jack Lambert Trophy.

Most NFL draft experts and scouts predicted Schobert, a Wisconsin product, to be selected in the third or fourth round of the draft. He accepted a request to participate at the NFL combine, and he finished all of the positional drills. He elected to only execute the vertical and broad jumps at Wisconsin’s pro day on March 9, 2016, and he improved in both of them.
