Theo Nathaniel Epstein is an American Major League Baseball executive, who currently works for MLB as a consultant.

Epstein went to Yale University and lived at Jonathan Edwards College. He was the Yale Daily News’s sports editor. He earned a degree in American Studies in 1995.

Theo Epstein then became the vice president and general manager for the Boston Red Sox and then the president of baseball operations for the Chicago Cubs. He worked for each team for nine seasons
Epstein rose to prominence while working for both teams for his role in ending two of Major League Baseball’s longest World Series droughts. The Red Sox won their first World Series championship in 86 years in 2004, while the Cubs won their first in 108 years in 2016.
