Pat Nebo: Renowned Nollywood production designer Pat Nebo passes away

Pat Nebo, an art director and production designer from Nigeria, passed away on September 14, 2023. In movies like October 1, “76, Being Mrs. Elliot, and Okafor’s Law, he served as the production designer. He also designed sets for a few movies.

With the home movie Ti Oluwa Ni Ile, he launched his profession as a production designer in 1993. He participated in Ti oluwa ni ile’s two sequels that same year. He had his first appearance in a motion picture in 2009’s The Figurine, in which he played the role of the “Marriage Registrar.” He did, though, continue to work as a production designer on a number of movies, including Araromire, Arugba, Alero’s Symphony, and Being Mrs. Elliot.

A few hours after the passing of Nollywood actress Cindy Amadi, the Nigerian film industry was struck by yet another tragedy with the passing of Mr. Pat Nebo, a renowned production designer and art director.

On well-known Nollywood projects like October 1, ’76, Being Mrs. Elliot, Okafor’s Law, and Citation, Nebo is listed as a production designer.
