Who Is Peter Mahony?
Peter O’Mahony is a rugby union player who plays the flanker position for United Rugby Championship club Munster and the Ireland national team.
Born on September 17, 1989, in Cork, Ireland, Mahony attended Presentation Brothers College, where he captained the rugby team.

He also played amateur rugby at Cork Constitution, where he appeared in the All-Ireland League and won the 2009–10 All-Ireland Cup.

Mahony made his senior debut in 2010 with Munster and so far he has appeared in 177 games, scoring 75 points.
His time with Munster has seen him serve as captain of Ireland’s under-20s during the Six Nations Championship and IRB Junior World Championship in 2009.
Mahony also led Munster A to the final of the inaugural British and Irish Cup during the 2009–10 season.
In 2009, Mahony played in Ireland’s U20 team, serving as captain once again, and was later named to the senior squad in 2012.
