Who Is Adam Beard?

Adam Beard is a rugby union player who currently plays as a lock for United Rugby Championship side Ospreys.

Born on January 7, 1996, in Swansea, Wales, Beard played rugby at Neath Port Talbot College, and played youth rugby for Aberavon RFC and Birchgrove RFC.

He made his senior debut in 2014 with Aberavon RFC. In 2013, he began playing for Ospreys, and went ahead to appear in 66 games.

On the international front, Beard made his debut for Wales U20 team in 2015, and played in 15 games.

In 2017, he joined the senior squad of the Wales national team and appeared in 46 matches.

In 2021, Beard was named to the British & Irish Lions squad for the South Africa tour. He went on to make his Lions debut in the Provincial game against the Sharks, and his Lions test debut against the Springboks.
