Jordan Whitehead was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as 117th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL draft.

He had signed a four-year contract worth $3.12 million with the team, including a signing bonus of $667,257.

After spending three seasons with the Buccaneers, Whitehead signed a two-year deal worth $14.5 million with the New York Jets in 2022.

The Pennsylvania native played football at Central Valley High School and for the Pittsburgh Panthers.

During his college days, Whitehead was a Super Bowl champion (LV), had won the ACC Rookie of the Year, and ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2015, and was named to the second-team All-ACC in 2016.

However, he decided to forgo his college eligibility and declared for the 2018 NFL Draft.
