Gordon Kennett cause of death: What happened to Gordon Kennett?

English motorcycle speedway rider Gordon Kennett was born on 2 September 1953 and passed away on 12 September 2023. He and Malcolm Simmons won the World Pairs Championship in 1978. At Wembley, he also came in second place to Ole Olsen in the 1978 Speedway World Championship.

Over the course of his twenty-four-year career, Kennett played for the Oxford Rebels, helped found the White City Rebels, and then returned to the Eastbourne Eagles.

He was a member of the Midland Cup-winning Oxford team in 1975, which had to go through replays of their home and away games against Swindon Robins and win both of their home and away matches against Wolverhampton Wolves in order to win the trophy. He helped the White City Rebels reach the top of the British League Tables in 1977.
