Welsh rugby player Liam Williams can play either the fullback or wing positions. He is well known for his unique running technique. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Welsh national team. He is currently a player with Saracens of England. He had previously played for the local teams Llanelli, Scarlets, and Waunarlwydd RFC.

Since he was a young child, he has been interested in rugby. During his school years, he began playing for the Waunarlwydd RFC club. At age 16, he also worked at Port Talbot Steelworks as an apprentice scaffolder while competing for Waunarlwydd RFC club.

Williams signed on with the Scarlets when he was 20 years old. Williams joined the UK team Sarries of the Aviva Premiership in 2010. He committed to a three-year deal during the 2017–2018 campaign.
