Tom Blyth Parents: Meet Charlotte and Gavin Blyth.

Tom Keir Blyth is a well-known English actor. He is the son of Charlotte and Gavin Blyth.

His father Gavin Blyth was a  television producer and journalist. He was well known for being series producer of Emmerdale.

Beginning his career in 2002, his  father Gavin Blyth joined Emmerdale in 2003 as a writer. He later went on to be an assistant producer and also a story editor on Coronation Street.

Gavin Blyth received the Special Achievement Award at the British Soap Awards in May 2011. His father died of lymphoma cancer at St James’ Hospital in Leeds, just weeks after being diagnosed on 26 November 2010.

Tom Blyth was only 15 when his father passed away. He grew up in Woodthorpe, a suburb of Nottingham  and attended Arnold Hill Academy and then to Bilborough College.

Blyth’s career began with minor supporting appearances in the 2010 movie Robin Hood and Pelican Blood. In 2018, he co-starred in the coming-of-age film Scott and Sid with Richard Mason.

He has upcoming film roles in the comedy Discussion Materials, which is based on Bill Keenan’s memoir of the same name, and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, which is based on the same-titled prequel to The Hunger Games.
