Pani joined Benetton in July 2021 in time for the United Rugby Championship that year (2021–2022). He made his competitive debut against Gloucester in Round 2 of the 2021–22 EPCR Challenge Cup. Up to April 2022, he was a member of Benetton.

Pani was selected for the Italy U20s squad for the yearly Six Nations Under 20s Championship in 2021 and 2022. He was chosen by Kieran Crowley on July 5, 2023, to be a member of the Italy team for the 2023 Rugby World Cup warm-up games. On July 29, 2023, he played his first game against Scotland.
