Morisi was a member of the Italian under-20 team and has since played 36 times for his nation, including matches against Namibia and South Africa at the 2019 Rugby World Cup and four Six Nations competitions.
In two Six Nations games at Twickenham, he has scored three tries. He also scored against Ireland in Rome in 2019. Morisi has been included in the Italian team for the Rugby World Cup in 2023.
