About Niccolò Cannone
Niccolò Cannone played for Italy’s U-20 team from 2017 to 2018.
In 2020, he was named to the senior squad, for the Six Nations 2020, after making his test debut against Wales during the 2020 Six Nations Championship.

On the club side, Niccolo majorly plays as a lock for the Italian club Benetton of the United Rugby Championship.

The Italian-born player started playing rugby as a youth with the club Florentia Rugby.
In 2017, he made his senior debut with Petrarca, where he played for three seasons, making 37 appearances and scoring 20 points.
Niccolo first played for Benetton on loan in 2019, appearing in 17 games, and scoring 15 points in one season. During that time, he was named as Permit Player for Benetton in Pro 14.
In 2020, he signed a contract with the team, and has since made 28 appearances and scored 10 goals.
In 2023, Niccolo joined Italy’s 33-man squad for the Rugby World Cup.
