From 2013 to 2017, Epalahame Faiva played for Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup. In March 2023, Epalahame Faiva was named to the Hurricanes squad for Round 5 of the 2023 Super Rugby Pacific season.
Epalahame Faiva was a member of the New Zealand Under-20 sides which competed in the 2013 and 2014 IRB Junior World Championships. On 22nd August 2023, he was named in Italy’s 33-man squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
