Daniel Lienert-Brown is a professional rugby player and the older brother of Anton Lienert-Brown.

Daniel was born in 1993, and currently plays as a loosehead prop for Canterbury in New Zealand’s domestic Mitre 10 Cup and the Highlanders in Super Rugby.

Who Is Anton Lienert-Brown?

Anton Lienert-Brown is a rugby union player who currently plays the second five-eighth or Centre positions for the Chiefs in Super Rugby, as well as Waikato in the Mitre 10 Cup.

Born on April 15, 1995, in Christchurch, New Zealand, Anton began his career while at Christchurch Boys’ High School.

Anton made his senior debut with the Chiefs in 2014, making 103 appearances and scoring 85 points. He also plays for Waikato by the side and appeared in 22 games, scoring 20 points.

After the Chief lost in the 2020 Super Rugby Aotearoa season, Anton was “selected in the North Island side and went on to start in the 13 jersey for all five of New Zealand’s remaining tests.”

Anton had his first 50th test in 2021 and finished as a 60–13 win against Fiji.

During the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season, Anton appeared in four games for the Chiefs.

Anton first played for New Zealand U-20 in 2014, and in 2016, he was named to the All Blacks national team.
