Heath Miller, an American former professional football player, was a tight end for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons from 2005 to 2015. He was born on October 22, 1982. Miller was an All-American and John Mackey Award winner while playing college football for the Virginia Cavaliers. With the 30th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, the Steelers made him their first-round pick.

In the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Miller thirty-first overall. He was Pittsburgh’s third first-round selection of a tight end in the previous fifteen years. On July 26, 2005, the Steelers inked Miller to a five-year, $6.89 million deal with $4.54 million in guaranteed money and a $3.94 million signing bonus.
