Sanya Malhotra currently lives in Gurgaon where she has bought a 4BHK house.

The Indian actress Sanya Malhotra, known for her role as Babita Kumari in sports biopic film Dangal is also a trained contemporary and ballet dancer.

Before making her debut acting career in 2016, Malhotra first competed in Dance India Dance in 2009.

Following the show, she relocated to Mumbai where she was later contacted by the film casting director Mukesh Chhabra.

In 2016, Malhotra played the role of Babita Kumari in an Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film Dangal which was directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

Malhotra then became a choreographer for the song ‘Sexy Baliye’ in Secret Superstar in 2017.

Since her debut, Malhotra has starred in several films including Pataakha (2018), Photograph (2019), Shakuntala Devi (2020), Pagglait (2021), and Love Hostel (2022).

She has received six nominations and has won one which is the 2018 Jackie Chan Action Movie Awards for Best New Action Performer.
