Steve Roden wife: Who is Sari Takahashi Roden?

Sari Takahashi Roden is the wife of late musician Steve Roden.

The couple together have three children – Dylan, Spring, Star; and three grandchildren.

About Steve Roden

Steve Roden was a visual artist, and record producer who made music across lowercase, ambient, and minimalism genres.

Since 1985, Roden worked in the fields of visual art, and sound. He also played the synthesizer, sampler, and other contemporary instrument.

Roden produced many albums, including Forms of Paper. During his lifetime, he was awarded the Artist Grant of the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and a grant from the California Community Foundation Getty Fellowship.

Roden passed away on September 6, 2023, at age 59, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He had been diagnosed with the disease since 2017.

Many of Roden’s work have been featured in several exhibitions and included in many museums such as “the Las Vegas Art Museum, Las Vegas; the Mercosur Biennial in Porto Allegre, Brazil; the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego; and the Serpentine Gallery, London.”

Others include “the Drawing Room, London; the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, La Jolla; the Sculpture Center, New York; the Centre Georges Pompidou Museum, Paris; the UCLA Hammer Museum, Los Angeles & Miami MOCA, Miami, and the Drawing Center, New York.”

Roden passed away on September 6, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was aged 59.
