Samuel Whitelock is a New Zealand rugby union player.

He plays as a lock for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and Canterbury in the Mitre 10 Cup.
In 2020, he had a brief spell with the Panasonic Wild Knights in Japan.
He has played 180 games for the Crusaders since debuting for the team in 2010, while he has also played 146 Tests for New Zealand. Whitelock was part of the teams that won the World Cup in 2011 and 2015 and became the eighth Test centurion in 2018.
