A lock for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and Taranaki in the Mitre 10 Cup, Scott Barrett (born 20 November 1993) presently represents New Zealand in rugby union. For the 2020 Super Rugby season, Barrett will serve as the Crusaders’ captain.

Since making his debut for New Zealand against Ireland in 2016, Barrett has played in almost 60 tests for the All Blacks, the country’s national squad.
Barrett made a total of 3 appearances while representing New Zealand’s Under 20 team at the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship in France. During New Zealand’s final-round tour, Barrett participated in all four tests and started in half of them.
