His father, Gory Guerrero, was “a first-generation wrestler and one of the greatest and most influential wrestlers of all time.”
Guerrero passed away on November 13, 2005, at the age of 38. He had suffered from an acute heart failure, caused by atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Following his demise, he was “posthumously inducted into the WWE, AAA, Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Hardcore halls of fame.”
