Orange Cassidy was born James Cipperly in New Jersey, United States, and performs as a pro wrestler under the All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Since making his wrestling debut in 2004, Cassidy has performed in various wrestling events, including the New Jersey Independent All-Stars, and for the Chikara promotion, where he won the Campeonatos de Parejas and the King of Trios tournament twice.

Although Cassidy has previously wrestled on the independent circuit through which he gained more prominence, but he remains the longest reigning International Champion in the AEW.
In 2022, Cassidy won his first championship during the episode of Dynamite at the the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, defeating his rival Pac.
In 2023, the title was changed to the AEW International Championship, with Cassidy defending his title at every instance.
Throughout his career, Cassidy has faced the likes of Luchasaurus, Rey Fenix, Katsuyori Shibata, Lee Johnson, Jake Hager, Q. T. Marshall, Trent Seven, The Butcher, Dralístico, Daniel Garcia, and many other top wrestlers.
