He was a defensive end in the National Football League and has worked as a football analyst for ESPN.
Douglas initially demonstrated his football abilities at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, where he majored in elementary education. Douglas, a first-round pick of the Jets in the 1995 NFL draft was voted Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year that same year.

He was traded to the Eagles for two round picks prior to the 1998 season. He then spent the 2003 season with the Jaguars before returning to Philadelphia in 2004. Owens departed from the sport a year later.
Douglas finished fourth on the Eagles’ all-time sack tally with 54.5 during his six seasons and went on to work as an on-air reporter for WTXF-TV in Philadelphia and became a regular figure on sports radio station 610 WIP.
He worked as a broadcaster for several years before joining Jalen Rose as a full-time commentator on ESPN2’s Numbers Never Lie in September 2012. Douglas currently hosts the 94.1 WIP Midday Show in Philadelphia.
