Butch Jones is a former football coach with coaching experience across college and professional levels.
Jones was born on January 17, 1968, in Michigan, United States, and currently serves as head coach at Arkansas State University.
Jones had his collegiate career with the FSU Bulldogs at Ferris State University, where he played as a running back, wide receiver, cornerback, from 1987 to 1989.

In 1990, he began serving as a intern coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL).
In 1995, he returned to Ferris State as a running back coach and later as an offensive coordinator.
Jones additionally coached Rutgers, Wilkes University, Central Michigan (from 1999 to 2004, and 2010 to 2012), West Virginia, Cincinnati, Tennessee, and Alabama.
In 2020, Jones began coaching Arkansas State University, where he doubles as an administrator.
