Gil Brandt wife: Meet Sara Brandt

From 1960 to 1988, Brandt was the Cowboys’ vice president of player personnel. Brandt began his career in scouting after graduating from the University of Wisconsin by doing part-time work for the Los Angeles Rams. Before moving to Dallas to work as the lead talent scout for the Cowboys when the team was founded in 1960, Brandt received his first full-time opportunity with the San Francisco 49ers in 1958.

Brandt, who was born in Milwaukee on March 4, 1933, went to the University of Wisconsin and worked as a baby photographer before making his NFL debut as a part-time scout for the Los Angeles Rams in the 1950s, when Schramm was the team’s general manager.

Gil Brandt wife: Meet Sara Brandt

The former executive in American professional football was married. Gil Brandt’s wife goes by the name of Sara Brandt. For more than three decades, they had been wed. They tied the knot on February 20, 1989.
Gil and Sara narrowly avoided tragedy before to their 2019 Cowboys Hall of Fame induction. Luckily, Sara was not hit by a gunshot as they were going to his tailor to have the gold jacket he would wear to the occasion altered, protecting them both from injury.
