Nicholas Folk, who was born on November 5, 1984, plays placekicking for the Tennessee Titans in the National Football League (NFL). He participated in collegiate football at the University of Arizona, where he was named to the first team of the Pacific-10, and was chosen in the seventh round by the Dallas Cowboys in 2007.

Folk played his first seven seasons with the Cowboys and was selected to the 2008 Pro Bowl as a rookie. He later played the next seven seasons with the New York Jets and rose to the position of second-leading scorer for the team.

Folk took a year off from football after a failed stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and in 2019 he will try to make a comeback with the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football. The next year, Folk led the NFL after making a comeback as a member of the New England Patriots.

As a senior, he received All-Pac-10 recognition. After completing 30 of 47 field goals, 79 of 81 extra points, and 96 punts for 4,242 yards (44.2 average), including a long of 61 yards, he completed his college career.
