Famous football player Nick Folk was born in Los Angeles, California, on November 5, 1984. Nick is also well known for being an NFL placekicker who was chosen by the New York Jets in the 2007 NFL Draft and made his debut in the Pro Bowl.

The Dallas Cowboys selected Folk in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft (178th overall). Folk’s 53-yard game-winning kick against the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football during his rookie season was the longest kick of his career to that point. He received the Week 5 NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
