Nina Kennedy (born 5 April 1997) specializes in pole vaulting as a sport. She took part in the Women’s Pole Vault contest and qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Based on her best height of 4.4m, she qualified at position 12 in the field. Kennedy was controversially eliminated from the pole vault qualifying because the competition was not stopped when it started to rain.

She was set to attempt her third attempt at 4.40m as the rain intensified, but was forced to abandon that attempt owing to the slippery, wet conditions.

Kennedy broke the previous world junior record in Perth in February 2015 by clearing 4.43m, 4.50m, and then 4.59m. She may therefore have participated in the 2015 World Championships in Beijing.

After this accomplishment, she carried on her winning streak by capturing the gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games with a clearance of 4.60 meters.
