John Michael Tolkin is an American professional soccer player who currently plays for the Major League Soccer club New York Red Bulls as well as the United States national team.

On July 10, 2019, Tolkin made his professional debut as a second-half replacement in a 4-3 win over Bethlehem Steel. During the game, he assisted Tom Barlow’s equalizer in the 82nd minute, his first professional assist.
Tolkin was selected New York Red Bulls Defender of the Year for the 2022 season on November 18, 2022.
Toklin scored his first goal of the season for New York, an 88th-minute free kick, to lead his club to a 1-0 victory over rival DC United on August 20, 2023.
