Thomas Ryan Walkup, an American professional basketball player for MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg of the German Basketball Bundesliga, was born on December 30, 1992. He represented Stephen F. Austin State University in college basketball. In both 2015 and 2016, Walkup received the Southland Conference Player of the Year award. He attended Deer Park High School in Deer Park, Texas, before beginning his playing career in college. Originally from Pasadena, Texas, Walkup.

As the team’s sixth man during his rookie season, Walkup immediately stepped into a significant position with the Lumberjacks. He averaged 4.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.5 game minutes. On November 24, 2012, against Tulsa, and on January 5, 2013, against McNeese State, he scored a career-high 11 points.
