Gabriele Procida is a basketball player who plays as a small forward/shooting guard for Alba Berlin of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroLeague.
Born on June 1, 2002, in Como, Italy, Procida first began playing basketball for Pallacanestro Cantù youth club.

He turned professional at age 17 with Pallacanestro Cantù in a Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) game against Reyer Venezia. As a player for Cantu, Procida became “the third-youngest player in league history to score at least 24 points in a game.”
In 2021, he was signed with Fortitudo Bologna, where he played for one season.
In 2022, Procida was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers, as 36th overall pick in the 2nd round of the NBA draft. However, on the draft night, he was traded to Detroit Pistons.
In the same year, Procida got signed with Alba Berlin of the Basketball Bundesliga.
On the international front, Procida made his senior debut with the Italy national team in 2021.
So far, he has represented Italy at various international tournaments including the FIBA European Championship and the EuroBasket 2022 qualification match.
