Danny Trejo is an screen and voice actor famous for playing tough-guy roles in many films and television series like “Machete,” “Desperado,” “Heat,” and “Spy Kids.”

Born on May 16, 1944, in Los Angeles, California, Trejo’s career began in 1985, with the American indie film Runaway Train.

Since then, he has starred in many other films, including “Desperado, From Dusk till Dawn, Con Air, From Dusk Till Dawn 2: Texas Blood Money, From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman’s Daughter, Reindeer Games, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Grindhouse.”

Trejo has a history of drug peddling from an early age, which got him imprisoned several times.

In the 1980s, he worked with Western Pacific Med Corp and in the 2000s, he appeared in other productions like “XXX; Once Upon a Time in Mexico; The Devil’s Rejects; Snoop Dogg’s Hood of Horror; Delta Farce; Rob Zombie’s Halloween; Urban Justice and Valley of Angels.”

On TV, Trejo appeared in Monk, Desperate Housewives, Stargate: Atlantis, and Breaking Bad.

In 2021, Trejo published his memoir Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood, which became a New York Times nonfiction best-seller.

In 2022, Trejo was cast in the third episode of The Book of Boba Fett as a Rancor keeper.
