Nicholas Lyndhurst Children: Meet Archie Lyndhurst

Nicholas Lyndhurst is an English actor. Nicholas Lyndhurst and hos wife Lucy Smith had a son together.

Their son Archie Lyndhurst was born on October 4, 2000 and just like his father, Archie was also an actor appearing in So Awkward.

Nicholas and Lucy’s son Archie tragically passed away in 2020 at the age 0f 19 after suffering a brain haemorrhage following a “short illness”.

In a statement released tonight, the Only Fools star said: “Lucy and I are utterly grief stricken and respectfully request privacy”.

Police and ambulance were called “to a report of a concern for welfare” and he was declared dead at the scene.

Archie’s cause of death was confirmed on 15 January 2021, with his mother Lucy sharing on Instagram that: “He died from an Intracerebral Haemorrhage caused by Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma/Leukaemia.”

She explained: “This is not Leukaemia as we know it, the word Acute in medical terms means rapid. He assured us that there wasn’t anything anyone could have done as Archie showed no signs of illness.”

Adding: “Archie had numerous bleeds on the brain and the Dr went to great lengths to reassure us that he wouldn’t have been in any pain as it happened in his sleep.”
