Who is Altay Bayındır? Meet the Man Utd goalkeeping target

Altay Bayındır is a Turkish professional who plays for Fenerbahce and the Turkey national team as a goalkeeper.

He started playing football for the youth team of Bursaspor in 2007 and played until 2011. He then played for the youth teams of Arabayatagispor and Bursa Yolspor.

Later on, in 2013, he joined the youth team of Ankaragucu and began his career at the club. He made his Super Lig debut with MKE Ankaragucu on 30 November 2018.

On 8 July 2019, he joined Fenerbahce on a four-year contract and became the first-choice goalkeeper, following a performance contention with team fellow Harun Tekin. He made his debut for the club on 19 August 2019 at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

On the international level, he has represented Turkey at various age levels. He has represented Turkey at U17, U19, U20, U21, and the senior level. He has represented the Turkey U20 at the 2018 Toulon Tournament. He made his international team debut for Turkey on 27 March 2021.
