David Jacobs (writer) Net Worth At The Time of Death

Famous television writer, David Jacobs’s real net worth at the time of death was not known, however, some sources claim that he had an estimated net worth of around $1 million at the time of death.

Considering that he had been in the movie industry for decades, it is understandable that he had been able to rake in such a great amount of wealth over the years.

He died from complications from a series of infections at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California at age 84. His death occurred on  Sunday, August 20, 2023. He had been battling Alzheimer’s disease in his later years.

Jacobs was famously known for writing and producing some of the longest-running American soap operas Dallas and Knots Landing. Dallas aired for a total of 14 seasons which had 357 episodes while Knots Landing aired for 344 episodes in total.

He was survived by his wife Diana Jacobs and three children; Albyn Jacobs, Aaron Jacobs, and Molly Jacobs.
