Contrary to widespread belief that actor Ray Park might have Chinese roots, Park is strictly Scottish.

He only trained in traditional Chinese Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and practised wushu at an early age in life.
Who Is Ray Park?
Raymond Park is an actor who gained prominence after playing the character of Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Park was born on August 23, 1974, in Glasgow, Scotland, and doubles as a martial artist and stuntman.

He began performing as a stunt double for the film Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, before he went on to appear in Star Wars.

Park went on to make many stunt performances in many films like X-Men, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Heroes; and made capture performances in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Park also made a cameo in Fanboys, as a Skywalker Ranch security guard.
Park was part of the motion capture team of “the 2008 James Bond video game adaptation of Quantum of Solace.”
Other films he has appeared include Sleepy Hollow, Break In, Supah Ninjas, Heroes, The Legend of Bruce Lee, Jinn, Accident Man, Slayer, and a few others.
