Ryan Sutter is an American television personality and former football player. He is the husband of Trista Sutter, an American television personality.

The couple met on the first season of the dating competition reality TV show The Bachelorette. Ryan Sutter was chosen by his now wife Trista Rehn.
In December 2003, they married in a broadcast wedding on ABC. Prior to joining the show, Ryan Sutter was a collegiate football defensive back for the Colorado Buffaloes and briefly played in the National Football League (NFL).

The Sutter’s have been living in Avon, Colorado, since 2020. Ryan Sutter spent several years as a fireman in Vail, Colorado, before joining the Denver Fire Department in February 2020.
On July 26, 2007, the Sutters had a son, Maxwell Alston, and a daughter, Blakesley Grace, on April 3, 2009. Ryan and Trista Sutter appeared in a Hands Only CPR public service announcement for the American Heart Association and the Ad Council on June 10, 2011.
