Joseph Mantiply is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Joe Mantiply was a college football player at Virginia Tech and was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 27th round of the 2013 MLB draft following his senior year.
That season, he made his professional debut with the Connecticut Tigers. Mantiply began his career as a starter before transitioning to bullpen pitcher in 2014.
He began the season with the West Michigan Whitecaps before being promoted to Double-A Erie SeaWolves. On September 3, 2016, Mantiply was called up and made his major league debut.

Joe Mantiply signed a minor league contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks on January 20, 2020. Mantiply’s contract was added to the Diamondbacks’ active roster on September 1, 2020.
Mantiply appeared in four games for the 2020 Arizona Diamondbacks, posting a 0-0 record with a 15.43 ERA and two strikeouts in 2.1 innings pitched.
The Diamondbacks designated Mantiply for assignment on September 28, 2020. On November 2, 2020, he resigned on a minor league contract. Mantiply was added to the active roster on May 15, 2021.
