Dina Asher-Smith of Great Britain is the fastest woman in the world and an Olympic gold medalist. The 25-year-old, whose full first name is Geraldina, was born on December 4th, 1995 in Orpington, Greater London. She first became serious about athletics while working as a kit carrier for the London 2012 Olympics. She then had her sights set on the 2017 World Championships, where she took home a silver medal for the 4×100-meter relay.

Asher-Smith has proven to be both intelligent and physically strong. She received three As in her A Levels, which led to her acceptance into the elite King’s College London to study history. With a second-class BA (Hons), she received her diploma in 2017. The 25-year-old will compete in her last competition at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on Friday, August 6.

Dina Asher-Smith is not expecting a child and she is not a parent. Asher-Smith was the youngest athlete chosen for the Great Britain and Northern Ireland squad for the 2013 World Championships in Moscow. Asher-Smith was a member of the successful Great Britain team for the 4 100 m relay at the London Grand Prix meet. She took up a bronze in the 4 100 m relay with teammates Annabelle Lewis, Ashleigh Nelson, and Hayley Jones.
