Luisa Gonzalez does not seem to be married at the moment.

Her first marriage was at the age of 15, which ended in a divorce when she was just 22 years old.

The union had produced a son. González identifies as an Evangelical.

About Luisa González

Luisa González declared her intention to run for president in the 2023 election, in June 2023, following the end of her tenure at the National Assembly.

She had emerged first place in the first round of voting against Daniel Noboa in the run off elections.

The Ecuadorian-born politician became a member of the National Assembly in 2021 after the legislative elections.

Since then, she has represented the Province of Manabi.

Before she ventured into politics, Gonzalez worked at a bank in Spain, as a research assistant at the International University of Ecuador, and later as the Ecuadorian general counsel in Spain.

González has formerly served in many positions including Secretary of Public Administration, during the regime of Rafael Correa.

She also held other positions in the Tourism Ministry.

Gonzalez is a Law graduate from the International University of Ecuador.
