Vilda’s playing career only lasted seven seasons from 1991 to 1998, playing for Barcelona, Rayo Vallecano, and Real Madrid.

Vilda began coaching Spain’s U19 women’s team in 2009, and has since coached the U17s and Al other categories.

Under his management, Spain won several gold, silver and bronze medals in various tournaments including the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
