Former mixed martial artist and Muay Thai kickboxer Joanna Jędrzejczyk is a Polish woman. She has been referred to as the greatest strawweight female mixed martial artist of all time, especially by Daniel Cormier, who gave her credit for “putting the weight class on the map.”

When Jędrzejczyk was 16 years old, she began exercising and that is when she first learned about Muay Thai. She later participated in national and European tournaments.
On May 19, 2012, at SFT – MMA Fight Night Diva SPA, Jędrzejczyk made her mixed martial arts (MMA) professional debut against Sylwia Juskiewicz. She triumphed by unanimous decision.
