Lemos made her promotional debut on July 16 at UFC Fight Night: Nelson vs. Ponzinibbio, taking Lina Länsberg’s injured spot on short notice. Smith was Lesmos’ opponent. She was knocked out in the second round of the one-sided contest.

Lemos was suspended for two years by USADA on March 28, 2018, as a result of a test that revealed stanozolol and its metabolite, which came from a sample that was obtained on November 8, 2017. For the UFC Women’s Strawweight Championship on August 19, 2023, Lemos is slated to compete against Zhang Weili at UFC 292.
