Michael McDowell is an American professional stock car racing driver. Michael and his wife Jami have five kids.

Their children are Trace, Emma, Rylie, Lucas and Isabella who was born in February 2023. Their son Lucas was adopted from China when he was only three years old.
The couple likes to keep their life private and doesn’t share a lot of family pictures or information on the internet.
Michael McDowell is a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver for Front Row Motorsports, driving the No. 34 Ford Mustang. He has also competed in open-wheel and sports car racing.

He began his racing career in open-wheel cars, competing in Formula Renault and Champ Car, as well as in sports cars such as the Rolex Sports Car Series and the 24 Hours of Daytona.
McDowell joined his current team, Front Row, in 2018 and has been racing full-time for them ever since. With FRM, he won the 2021 Daytona 500, McDowell’s first Cup Series victory. In 2016, he also won the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
