The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight division is where Canadian mixed martial artist Bradley Devin Katona (born December 12, 1991) competes. He is also the former Brave CF Bantamweight Champion and The Ultimate Fighter 27’s featherweight victor.

It was announced in November 2017 that Katona would be a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter: Undefeated and compete in the featherweight division. On the program, Katona first defeated Kyler Phillips by majority decision, and then in the semifinals, he defeated Bryce Mitchell by rear-naked choke in the third round. The Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale saw Katona defeat Jay Cucciniello by unanimous decision in the subsequent match.

When did Brad Katona move to Ireland?

Before opting to devote all of his attention to his MMA career in 2016, Katona graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. He relocated to Dublin in 2017 to train with John Kavanagh’s Straight Blast Gym Ireland.

Katona, who trains with McGregor and his coaching staff at SBG Ireland, was able to reconcile with them thanks to the change. Katona thinks the move will help him become the first competitor to win TUF’s first two seasons.
