Cody Gibson, a mixed martial artist from the United States, debuted in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on September 11, 1987. He fights in the Bantamweight division.

Cody’s friend brought him to a mixed martial arts gym in Exeter, California, while he was home for the summer during college, so he could give it a shot.

He entered his first professional fight barely a few weeks after starting training after discovering how much he loves fighting. Cody, who was still wrestling in college, would engage in three professional fights over the course of the following two years, despite not having had considerable training in any sport other than wrestling. He nevertheless started out his MMA career with a 3-0 record.
